Land art drawing

Imagen
Firstly, we can define Land Art as Land art or earth art is an art that is made directly in the landscape, sculpting the land itself into earthworks or making structures in the landscape using natural materials such as rocks or twigs. Regarding Land art drawing, I have decided to represent the combination of two types of rocks, creating a beautiful spiral in the middle of the beach. We can also perceive a direct connection within the sea as we can see on the top of the drawing. Finally, I want to point out the technique that I have chosen which is watercolours: brown, black and a blue-white combination.

PERFORMANCE: AFRICATOWN

Imagen
At the beginning of this project with our seminar, we decided to create a performance based on the theme: A relevant time in history. From here, we started to create a brainstorming idea and initially, we thought it was appropriate to do our work on the time of the Egyptians. Consequently, we decided to focus on Slavery in America, as we could better link it with the music part. The story we recreate was taken from a true story from the 19th century. On the art side, we thought it was a good idea to represent this story through shadows and movements, thus combining light as a source of artistic expression. The cover of our work is the following one: SCENES AND REPRESENTATION OF SHADOWS Scene 1 → Will be performed. Angela arrives at her grandparents' house. She will find it in the newspaper, and he will be in a corner of the stage where she will stay and tell the story she finds in the newspaper. Scene 2 → It will be represented with shadows, we will use the figure of the ship and

E XHIBITION OF ENERGY: MUSEU NACIONAL DE LA CIÈNCIA I TÈCNICA DE CATALUNYA After visiting the "Una mirada a l'espai" exhibition, we wanted to visit more exhibitions of the museum and finally, we started with the principal one of the museum: "L'energia" The exhibition Enérgeia offers a journey through different sources of energy as the driving force for human activity and industrialisation. An exhibition on energy, the essential driving force of industrialisation, serving to explain the importance of how sources of energy have been used over the years. In order better to explain the concepts, the exhibition includes historical artefacts such as the Fontaine turbine, steam engines, a huge switch, models such as the Vapor Vell de Sants, experiments known as "yellow points" ranging from the inclined plane used in turbines, to experiments with electricity, most notably the demonstrations of Faraday's Cage. The exhibition also features a number of

OUTDOOR sketting

From this activity, I can only say or explain about the alternative activity we did, because I am from Seminar B and due to the dark of night we cannot go outdoors to do well the activity.  Otherwise, we also started with the subject of Nature versus architecture. After drawing 4 catches I finally choose the following one:                                               With this drawing, I want to reflect on the combination of nature and those objects which are from human beings. As we can see, the vegetation is predominating the announcement of the middle of the road. This combination of geometric and nature is quite awesome to observe and to realize their combination.  Basically, I choose these two options because when I was going to University by car, I observe a huge announcement cartel like the one represented, and then in-home I reflected on the paper.  The drawing is painted by watercolours.

Second visit to CaixaForum

Imagen
On the last 21st Of December, we went to visit two artistic exhibitions of CaixaForum in Barcelona. Before it, I go to each exhibition's website with the main proposal for informing me about both presentations. What I expect more was the Art and Myth exhibition because I have always loved classical art and its history. Otherwise, I expected a good exhibition the one which was about Dracula.   Space description of each room:  First of all, we entered the exhibition called: Vampirs, l'evolució del mite.  In the vampire room, everything was quite closed and was distributed in different rooms. The first one was the largest and gave the entrance. In the room mentioned, there were different holographic images of vampires. Besides, we observed different pictures of vampires, dresses related to their time, and at the end of the visit (the last space) was dedicated more to the cinema and the writing of vampires. There was also a room where there was a movie about vampires and finally on

ART RESEARCH

After searching which link is more interesting, the following caught my attention immediately:    "Relegar la educación artística tiene un objetivo político: crear ciegos-videntes" María Acaso, profesora de Educación Artística en la Facultad de Bellas Artes de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid https://www.eldiario.es/sociedad/busca-pp-salir-representado-pisa_128_4494282.html What I want to point out regarding this amazing article is the fight of the artistic community to create a better space for art in the educational context. As Maria said, including art in schools is not only doing handwork, it goes beyond. We can observe Maria's anger regarding this problematic topic in her book which was published in 2009. This has wondered me about my art formation in primary education and I have realized that it is true and I had been blind since childhood due to political interests.  Second link: Andy Goldsworthy The second link which I found most interesting was the following:

Hybrid design: Watertable

Imagen
In the first class, the teacher presented us with the Hybrid design task. Firstly, we had to make two different lists, one with inorganic elements such as a table, rubber, pencil, etc., and the other with organic elements. Then, the teacher chose one element of each list with the aim of creating a Hybrid object. Among all the elements, the ones selected were watermelon and table. Now, I present my innovation: In my honest opinion, I have achieved the main objective of this activity due to the fact of being so difficult to differentiate both elements.  To paint this hybrid design, I used DN3 paper and colouring with watercolours.
