Art and Visual Primary Education

Firstly, we can define Land Art as Land art or earth art is an art that is made directly in the landscape, sculpting the land itself into earthworks or making structures in the landscape using natural materials such as rocks or twigs. Regarding Land art drawing, I have decided to represent the combination of two types of rocks, creating a beautiful spiral in the middle of the beach. We can also perceive a direct connection within the sea as we can see on the top of the drawing. Finally, I want to point out the technique that I have chosen which is watercolours: brown, black and a blue-white combination. 

At the beginning of this project with our seminar, we decided to create a performance based on the theme: A relevant time in history. From here, we started to create a brainstorming idea and initially, we thought it was appropriate to do our work on the time of the Egyptians. Consequently, we decided to focus on Slavery in America, as we could better link it with the music part. The story we recreate was taken from a true story from the 19th century. On the art side, we thought it was a good idea to represent this story through shadows and movements, thus combining light as a source of artistic expression.
